Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I hope you were able to get outside and enjoy the nice weather! Unfortunately, most of my weekend was spent indoors but all for a good reason!
{friday}
I took a half day at work so I could come home and start the de-cluttering/staging process of our condo to get it ready for selling. We made a Target run to grab extra storage bins and spent most of the evening taking things off shelves and counters/out of closets. At the end of the night, our living room looked like this:
Yikes!!!
{saturday}
Started the morning bright and early with some coffee to get ready for a long day of work. I tried the hazelnut coffee at Panera for the first time and don’t know how I waited this long to try it! After one cup, I’m already hooked!
We literally spent all day organizing, packing, and making trips up and down to our storage unit in the basement. At the end of the day, our condo looked like a whole new place.
By the time we were done, we were tired and hungry. We decided to go out for a little pre-Cinco de Mayo celebration and walked to a Mexican restaurant about a block from our building called New Rebozo. Chef Paco is famous for his food especially his homemade mole sauces – he makes 14 different kinds! We snacked on chips and salsa while waiting for our meals. I ordered the steak fajitas which were so flavorful and did the trick of satisfying my hunger!
{sunday}
Stopped for another cup of Panera hazelnut coffee on the way to church (I told you I was hooked)! Our church just got a new teaching pastor on staff from California and today was his first service speaking. I think he’ll be a great addition to our pastoral staff. After church, we stopped in Publican Quality Meats to pick up some sandwiches for lunch. I ordered the roasted turkey and havarti and Kevin had the roast beef and blue cheese sandwich.
I spent the rest of the day working on a top secret project for a bridal shower I am hosting for my future sister-in-law in a couple of weeks. I can’t wait to share the final project with you in a few weeks!
Well, that about wraps it up for this weekend! I hope you all have a great week!
xoxo – Paige
