Happy Friday!! I am so happy the weekend is here because I am going to visit my brother and sister-in-law in Alabama today! You may remember that Kyle and Faith got married this summer and I haven’t seen them since they visited us in July so I am really looking forward to spending the weekend with them. Saturday also happens to be my brother’s birthday so that will be fun to celebrate with him! My parents are also driving down so it will be a fun couple of days with family. Whatever you are up to, I hope you have a great weekend!
Here are five things I’ve been loving this week:
ONE | I stopped in Argo Tea this week and picked up an Iced Pumpkin Chai. I love chai tea and the addition of pumpkin made for the perfect fall drink! They were sampling this tea hot which I tried and loved, but I prefer my tea/coffee iced over hot.
TWO | Another fall food discovery this week is the Butternut Squash Ravioli at Panera. I ordered this as part of a You Pick Two for lunch this week and it was so delicious! I would definitely order this again.
THREE | Did you read about the new drink Starbucks is releasing next month? The Chestnut Praline Latte (#CPL) will be added alongside their other holiday beverages like the Gingerbread Latte and Peppermint Mocha. My guess is this will have a rich, nutty flavor which I think I will like. Can’t wait for the first red cup sightings!
FOUR | I made a Target run at lunch one day this week (it’s dangerous being two blocks away) and picked up some awesome finds! First these sweater leggings. These looked so cute and comfy, I couldn’t resist! I tried them on as soon as I got home and fell in love. These are going to be the perfect pants to lounge around the house in. Side note: I couldn’t find these online, but they come in several different colors/patterns in stores.
You know a Target trip is never complete before browsing The One Spot. I found the cutest note cards for $1 and a new journal for $3!
FIVE | At the retreat last weekend, we were each given a necklace that was handmade by women in poverty in Uganda. Our church is big on global outreach and impacting the world so this was one small way of helping support these women overseas. The necklace is so beautiful and I love the idea of giving back to others by helping support their businesses.
Have a fantastic Friday!

I went to target this week and did the same. You just can’t resist! I am going back today to pick up other things.
I saw those note cards too. Super cute!

Target just sucks you right in! So convenient but dangerous having one right in the loop downtown!
