Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fun and safe New Year’s Eve last night. We had plans to travel to Florida to visit some friends this year, but sickness got the best of me and cancelled our plans. I woke up feeling much better yesterday and managed to leave the house for the first time in two days which was nice. Kevin and I ended up making a last minute dinner reservation at Wood and then went over to our friend, Mandy’s, condo to hang out with some friends. We had a wonderful last meal of 2014 that I will share with you next week and ended the night with several rounds of Cards Against Humanity. It was a fun, low key night which is just my style.
Here is a look at some of our past New Year’s Eve celebrations:
2008 | This was my first NYE post college graduation. We went to a party at the Crystal Gardens Ballroom on Navy Pier in Chicago.
2009 | I hosted a party at my first Chicago apartment.
2010 | We went to a Masquerade party at Red Ivy in Wrigleyville.
2011 | We went to a party at one of my co-worker’s apartments. I couldn’t find any pictures from this year.
2012 | All of our college friends got together at our friends, Erin and Scott’s, house in Cincinnati.
2013 | We went to dinner at Zed 451 with some of our friends from church.
2014 | Our friends, Jacki and Dan, were visiting from Florida and we all went to Mandy’s condo for the night.
2015 | Happy New Year!!
How did you spend your New Year’s Eve this year?

I love DC! One of my favorite cities! My uncle lives there and I owe him a visit so I’m hoping to get out there soon.
