When I think of Valentine’s Day, I think Italian food. For our first Valentine’s Day in Chicago, we celebrated with dinner at Mia Francesca in Lakeview.
Francesca’s has 20 different locations around the Chicagoland area so we have made it a tradition to dine at a different location every February 14th. This year our reservation is at Francesca’s on Chestnut in Gold Coast.
In addition to all of the Francesca’s locations, here are some other restaurants that I think would be perfect for a romantic evening with your love.
- Balena – 1633 N. Halsted St. in Lincoln Park
- Davanti Enoteca – 1359 W. Taylor St. in Little Italy
- Siena Tavern – 51 W. Kinzie St. in River North
- Piccolo Sogno – 464 N. Halsted St. in River West
- Cafe Spiaggia – 980 N. Michigan Ave. in Gold Coast
- Cocello – 354 W. Hubbard St. in River North
- Prosecco – 710 N. Wells St. in River North
- RPM Italian – 52 W. Illinois in River North
