Weekend Recap

Ah, Monday…another work week begins!  I’m already looking forward to next weekend being a three day weekend!  This weekend was low key and relaxing and just what we needed.

FRIDAY | We celebrated our five year wedding anniversary on Friday night.  We had dinner at RPM Steak which has been on our list of places to try since it recently opened.  We each ordered steaks and had the most delicious sides and Baked Alaska for dessert.  Happy Anniversary to us! 🙂

SATURDAY | Saturday was rainy and overcast all day which made for the perfect excuse to lounge around at home.  I ran out in the morning and picked up coffee and bagels from Panera for breakfast.  Kevin worked most of the day while I did laundry and watched a few episode of Dawson’s Creek which I recently started re-watching.  Later that evening Kevin and I went to our friends Jeremy and Lindsey’s house for dinner and to watch the Bears pre-season game.  Lindsey made a delicious lemon chicken dish and I made a peanut butter pie for dessert.  We had a great time hanging out with them and their daughter Emma at their beautiful new home!

SUNDAY | We went to church in the morning and then had lunch at Egg Harbor Cafe.

After lunch we went grocery shopping and ran some errands before coming home and starting a puzzle.  Kevin mostly worked on it while I watched some more Dawson’s Creek. 🙂
