If you’ve been reading this blog for any length of time then you know I love a good brunch! I’m pretty sure I could breakfast food any time of day. With so many great places to eat brunch in Chicago I haven’t even begun to scratch the service, but I have been to several good spots. Today I am sharing with you some of my favorite brunch dishes I’ve eaten.
French Toast Terrine at The Dawson: French Toast stuffed with Sausage and Pistachios topped with Ricotta and Figs. The perfect combination of sweet and savory!
Chi-Town Skillet at Brunch: Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Cheddar, Roasted Tomato, Caramelized Onion, and Jalapenos served over Potatoes – this dish is packed full of flavor!
Lemon Pancakes at Beatrix: Light and fluffy pancakes with Blackberries and Lemon Syrup.
The Farmer’s Breakfast at Farmhouse: Scrambled Eggs with Kale, Tomatoes, and White Cheddar with Spicy Potatoes and your choice of Bacon or Sausage – simple yet delicious!
Ham Steak at The Publican: Grilled Ham with Cheddar Grits, Pickled Corn, and Cole Slaw topped with a Fried Egg.
Eggs ‘Florentine’ at Trenchermen: Poached Eggs served over Crispy Grits and Smoked Kale topped with a Tomato Hollandaise and served with a side of Brussels Sprouts.
