A few weeks ago Kevin and I attended the Chicago Auto Show First Look for Charity event. This event is hosted annually the evening before the Chicago Auto Show opens to the public. The event is black tie and benefits several local charities. Guests are treated to champagne, wine, and wonderful food and desserts from local restaurants/catering companies. You may remember that I attended a media preview for this event in January and got to sample some of the food. Some of my favorite bites from the evening were the Bacon Wrapped Dates and Meatball with Tzatziki from the Mediterranean station,
the Steak Chimichurri with Horseradish Mashed Potatoes from Texas de Brazil,
and the Coconut Macaroons with Banana Cream Filling. So good!
Aside from the food and drinks, Kevin and I had a great time getting dressed up for an evening and seeing all of the fancy cars. Here are some pictures from the evening.
