When Kevin and I were in Hawaii a few weeks ago I had my first acai bowl for breakfast and it was love at first bite. I finally got around to recreating the bowl, and as promised I am sharing the recipe with you today.

For the acai puree:
- 2 unsweetened Acai Superfruit Packs (I used the Sambazon packs found at Whole Foods)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
For the toppings:
- Sliced Strawberries
- Sliced Bananas
- Shredded Coconut
- Crumbled Granola
- Blend the two frozen acai packs in a blender with the banana and almond milk until it’s thick and smooth like a smoothie.
- Top with sliced strawberries, sliced bananas, shredded coconut and crumbled granola. Serve immediately.
Note: this recipe serves two.
