Happy Monday! This weekend was full of fun events and I had a great time with family and friends.
FRIDAY | Kevin and I attended the wedding of my friend and old co-worker, Zenia. She looked absolutely beautiful and we had a great time celebrating her and Aaron.
We left the reception a little bit early and hit the road to Louisville, KY. We arrived around 3 AM and went straight to bed once we got to the hotel.
SATURDAY | I met up with my family and we participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
It was a beautiful morning and we had a great time walking for a cause that is near to all of us. My grandmother has been living with the disease for the past few years.
After the walk we all went over to my grandparents’ house and hung out for the afternoon. I got to spend time with this precious lady.
We left later in the afternoon to make the five hour drive back to Chicago. We made a pit stop in Lafayette for some shakes.
SUNDAY | Kevin and I live streamed our church service from home because I had my global entry interview at the airport that morning. After my interview, we picked up Chipotle for lunch and came home to watch the Bears game.
I hope you all had a great weekend as well!
