With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I thought I would round up some of my favorite Thanksgiving side dishes today. Kevin and I hosted Thanksgiving for my family at our house the first year we were married and it was so fun coming up with a menu all on our own. This year we will be spending Thanksgiving with Kevin’s family so I won’t be doing any of the cooking, but if I were these are some recipes I would consider making.
Wild Rice and Butternut Squash Salad with Maple Balsamic Dressing via Heartbeet Kitchen
Creamy Mashed Potatoes via The Pioneer Woman
Squash Casserole via Southern Living
Brown Butter, Apple, Leek, and Bacon Stuffing via Iowa Girl Eats
Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Reduction via Garnish with Lemon
Apple Cider Glazed Sweet Potatoes via Oh My Veggies
Green Bean Casserole with Crispy Onions via Smitten Kitchen
Orange Bourbon Cranberry Sauce via Gimme Some Oven
What are some of your favorite Thanksgiving side dishes?
Linking up with Annie, Katie, Cait, and Lisa for their holiday link-up.

My favorite side dish is this spinach and artichoke casserole that my mom makes. It is so good. I’m so glad you did this post. I’m cooking Thanksgiving this year and totally need some inspiration for side dish ideas. This all look delicious.

Yum!! Spinach and artichoke casserole sounds delicious! I love spinach and artichoke dip so I’m sure a casserole version would be right up my alley!

All these Thanksgiving recipe round-ups are putting me in such a great mood. I think I may even start making some dishes I see and love before the actual day. Gotta fit them all in somehow, right? 🙂
Paige says
Ha! That’s right! I support your decision in making some dishes ahead of time – gotta sample them all!

I always make smashed garlic potatoes for Thanksgiving! I do not branch out much on the holidays.

You can’t ever go wrong with a potato dish! I’m sure people would be highly upset if your potatoes didn’t make it one year.

Thanks for sharing your post at Tasty Tuesday this week 🙂

I thought those sweet potatoes sounded really good too! I’m not a big fan of sweet potato casseroles but I love sweet potatoes so that dish sounded perfect!
