This weekend we traveled to Madison, Wisconsin for our friends’ wedding. It was perfect fall weekend and we had a great time!
FRIDAY | Kevin had the wedding rehearsal and then I joined him at the rehearsal dinner at Johnny Delmonico’s Steakhouse.
We ate a delicious steak dinner and had a great time celebrating Brooke and Jason.
SATURDAY | I woke up early and went straight to the Madison Farmers Market which was incredible! The tents lined the streets all the way around the Capitol building.
I bought some cheese curds because “when in Wisconsin…”
I picked up a some coffee from a local spot and then walked around University of Wisconsin’s campus.
Their Student Union is right on the lake and has some great views.
The wedding took place later that afternoon and was at a beautiful terrace outside overlooking downtown.
The reception was lovely as well and we danced the night away!
SUNDAY | Kevin and I had brunch at Graze which had amazing views of the Capitol.
We then walked around the square one last time before we left. Madison is such a beautiful city!
On our way home we got stopped due to an accident and were forced to get off on an exit that just happened to have the World’s Largest Culver’s so naturally we had to stop.
We decided to stop and pick apples at the same farm went to last year. We weren’t there very long before it started raining so it was a pretty quick trip, but we left with a big bag of apples.
We ended the night with chili and the Bears game.
