A couple of summers ago, Kevin and I spent a weekend in New Orleans for my birthday. It was both of our first (and only) time visiting the city and we fell in love with its architecture and history. We went in the middle of June and it was H-O-T! The heat did not stop us from having a great time though! Today I thought I would share a recap of our trip through pictures.
Chargrilled Oysters at Felix’s
Hurricanes at Pat O’Brien’s on Bourbon St.
Carriage Tour around the French Quarter
Beignets at Cafe Du Monde
St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square
Street Vendors and Performers in Jackson Square
Muffulettas from Central Grocery
Tour of Saint Louis Cemetery
Drink stop at Lafitte’s – the oldest bar in America
Birthday Dinner at Emeril’s Delmonico
Ride on the oldest running street car in the country
Live Jazz and Art on Frenchmen Street
Magnolia Trees everywhere
Have you visited New Orleans? Bourbon Street or Frenchmen Street?
