Ah, San Francisco. If I’ve ever left my heart in a city, San Francisco would be it. My first trip to California was in 2007 during my senior year of college. Kevin has some family who live in the bay area and I went with him to visit. Not only did we spend time in San Francisco, we also visited some little beach towns like Capitola which has the cutest downtown and the most beautiful, colorful houses. Unfortunately, all of my pictures from that trip are on my old laptop which isn’t really functioning so I won’t be sharing any of those today. Luckily, we went back to the city by the bay in 2012 so I will be sharing my pictures from that trip.

I love everything about San Francisco, but the Ferry Building and Palace of Fine Arts are definitely my favorite places. I could spend hours walking through the markets in the Ferry Building and the Palace of Fine Arts is just so peaceful. The neighborhood surrounding the area is absolutely beautiful!

I’ve been to SF twice in the past few years and I swear it steals more of my heart each time. I did a lot of similar things except didn’t get to explore Alcatraz or see the painted ladies. Otherwise, I loved taking a trolly bus tour around the city and learning the history. The Golden Gate bridge is also breathtaking!
