TGIF!! This week seemed to last an eternity! I’m so glad it’s finally Friday! Kevin and I are traveling to Boston this weekend to visit our friends who recently moved there. Neither of us have ever been to Boston so I’m excited to explore a new city! It should be a fun weekend. Here is my Friday Five:
ONE | I saw this picture on Purdue University’s Facebook page this week and it made me so nostalgic for college! I always get sad this time of year wishing I could be moving on campus again. If only we could be undergrads forever!
TWO | This week it was my turn to host supper club at my house and I had the best time around the table with some of my girlfriends! I served my friend Mary‘s spicy chicken burgers and everyone else brought the sides and dessert. It was the perfect end of summer meal!
THREE | A couple of weeks ago my mom’s dad’s (my grandpa) side of the family had their big family reunion. Unfortunately, I was unable to go because it took place while we were on vacation. My aunt spent all year collecting recipes from everyone and put together a family cookbook which I received in the mail this week! It was so fun looking through all of the recipes and I love that I have all of these at my fingertips now.
FOUR | Last week I received these YSL makeup products in the mail from Influenster. I received a primer and a perfecting powder. The primer did make my skin feel really smooth without being greasy, but it was a bit too shimmery for my taste. I did like the powder and thought it worked well to reduce shine.
FIVE | Last but not least I’m obviously looking forward to my first visit to Boston! Can’t wait to explore this weekend!
Have a great weekend!
