TGIF!! Five day work weeks following a holiday weekend are always the hardest to come back to! Thankfully this week went by pretty quickly and it’s already Friday again! High five for that!

Sparkling Peach Black Tea from Caribou Coffee. Guys – I am obsessed with adding sparkling water to my fruit teas lately! It is so refreshing and adds a little something special to it. Sadly, all of the Caribou locations in Chicago will be closed by the end of the month. Hopefully Starbucks gets on board with the sparkling trend soon!

David’s Tea – did I mention how much I am loving iced tea?? Last weekend Kevin and I popped into David’s Tea and purchased some loose leaf teas and one of their steepers so we could make our own at home. I picked up a bag of the Watermelon Mint tea and have of course been adding sparkling water to each glass for a nice refreshing mocktail at home each night – perfection! Also, if you buy a steeper you receive 15% off all loose leaf teas for the entire summer!

Food trucks have become quite popular in Chicago and earlier this week I stumbled upon The Doughnut Vault van and made a surprise delivery to Kevin’s office with an afternoon treat! Seriously though how cute is their van? The cuteness of the van alone made me stop!

Started a new Bible Study at our church this week called The Gospel-Centered Community and I’m pretty excited about it! I think it will be a great eight weeks of learning the meaning of true community with other believers!

I’ve mentioned before that my best girl friends from college and I always get together each year for a weekend trip. This week we finally nailed down the location for our weekend in August together. We will be headed to Minneapolis, MN! Our friend Erin just moved there at the beginning of the year so we will be staying with her and getting to know her new city! To say I’m excited is a bit of an understatement! Unfortunately, our friend and new mom, Kelly won’t be joining us this year, but I’ve already lined up a weekend to go see her and meet her new babies later this month! Can’t wait for both trips!
Linking up with Lauren.

All I had to see was that 3 of your 5 things were food centric to know that we must be blog friends!

No more Caribou?!? That’s so sad. Also I didn’t know about that new bible study – is it couples or can anyone go?
Paige says
I know! So sad about Caribou!! And the Bible Study just started this week – anyone can join! It’s Wednesdays from 7-8:30 at Near North for 8 weeks. You should come!!

How did I miss that the Caribou’s are closing?! That is crazy! I need to hunt down the doughnut truck — those look delicious. Love Park church, we used to go there before finding Soul City which is right by our house!

I know! I’m so sad about Caribou’s closing! I guess business wasn’t doing well in the Chicago area. We love Park Church! Haven’t ever checked out Soul City but have driven by it several times in West Loop. Hope you had a good weekend!
