Happy Friday! This weekend we are headed back down to Purdue for Homecoming festivities. It should be a beautiful weekend and I’m excited to be back on campus again this fall. I hope you all have a good weekend as well! Here is today’s five:
ONE | Halloween is over which means everyone is in full on Christmas mode. Chicago is no exception and this week Macy’s put up their decorations and the ice skating rink in Millennium Park was starting to be built. I love this time of year!
TWO | Starbucks released their holiday red cups for the season this week too. I talked to one of the baristas who said they were actually delivered to stores at the beginning of October! I joked with Kevin that his Halloween birthday will soon become a Christmas birthday.
THREE | I didn’t really intend for this to be a Christmas post, but ABC Family released their 25 Days of Christmas movie lineup. Let the Christmas movie watching commence!
FOUR | On a non-Christmas related note, this Fall Harvest Salsa from Trader Joe’s is so good! I definitely recommend picking some up before all the pumpkin things are no more.
FIVE | I saw this picture on Purdue’s Facebook page this week and it made me extra excited to visit this weekend! This is my favorite area of campus.

Wow I cannot believe Macy’s has their Christmas stuff up already. Then again it doesn’t surprise me the way Christmas has completely taken over November (and a little bit of October). Hope you have a great weekend!
