Happy Friday! The first week back to work after vacation is always the toughest so luckily this was a fast week! It’s supposed to be a beautiful weekend and we have a couple of things planned, but other than that it should be pretty laid back. Here are my five thoughts for today:
ONE | Blueberries were on major sale this week so I picked up some extra and made this blueberry crisp recipe from Shauna Niequist. I cut the recipe in half and we may or may not have eaten the entire thing in two days causing me to have to make another one mid-week…oops!
TWO | Our new addiction are these salted caramel pretzel crisps! I blame Kevin’s parents for giving them to us. They are SO good!
THREE | Last night I attended a fundraiser for Facing Forward to End Homelessness, an organization that helps homeless women and children here in Chicago. The event took place at Bottle and Bottega and we had a great time! I love wine and canvas parties and am always pleasantly surprised at how my painting turns out. You may remember the last one I did of the Chicago skyline.
FOUR | Did you catch my post about our trip to Charleston? You can read about our visit here and all of the delicious food we ate here.
FIVE | In case you missed yesterday’s post, I also blogged about our week in Hilton Head. You can catch up on all of the details here.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Salted caramel pretzels sound pretty amazing. That’s the kind of thing I can’t buy or I’ll eat the entire package.

Agreed! It is way too easy to keep reaching in the bag for more.
