Happy Friday! I’m looking forward to another fun Christmas-y weekend! My mom and sister are driving up to Chicago and we are doing our annual tradition of Holiday Tea at The Drake. I can’t wait! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Here are my five things for this Friday:
ONE | I put up our tree the week after Thanksgiving and still haven’t found a topper I like. I made a bow several years ago, but it has seen better days so we may just go without a one this year.
TWO | Since we don’t have a fireplace I have to improvise on where to hang our stockings. I also added some ribbon to these closet doors in our living room so we can display our Christmas cards. Slowly but surely they are starting to arrive!
THREE | One of my favorite holiday treats is this Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Kettle Corn! I always pick up a bag from Target and this week we also tried the Hot Cocoa Marshmallow which was good but the Dark Chocolate is still my favorite. Side note: Costco sells HUGE bags of this stuff too which can be dangerous!
FOUR | Kevin and I went to the Christkindlmarket one night after work and it was the perfect time to go because it wasn’t very crowded. I love looking at all of the pretty ornaments they sell!
FIVE | I baked my first batch of Christmas cookies this week. I plan on doing a little more baking this weekend too. I love baking during the holidays!
Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂

Oh man, those cookies look amazing. We have an old-fashioned looking angel that my dad gave us at our wedding (he got his when he married my mom, so it’s a sentimental thing :)) but since we don’t have a real tree due to toddler hands, it’s not up, but I can’t wait to use it again!
